Ernie has been a student of auctions his entire life. He started by going to livestock auctions as a child, his grandfather took him to hundreds of auctions from general merchandise to classic auto auctions. He graduated from the Mendenhall School of Auctioneering and started his career in 1991 as a circuit auctioneer for auto auctions. Ernie has been working for Americas Auto Auctions since 1991 and Rawls Auto Auctions since 1995.
Ernie has been providing auction services for major bank institutions like Wells Fargo, Bank of America, HSBC, BB&T Bank, and GSA . He has auctioned at a minimum of 4 auctions per week for over 23 years now selling repos, surplus and new car dealer trades. Ernie also auctions at Classic Car Auctions and the Worlds Largest Boat and RV sale every month. He is currently licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Florida.
Ernie has been a licensed real estate broker for since 2012. He has conducted real estate and business liquidation auctions for a federal receivership. These auctions are for both residential and commercial properties.
Ernie has three children aging from 9-16, and they are all very proud of their Cherokee Indian heritage. He tries to be active in their sports, school and church activities as much as he can. They love outdoor activities, especially the beach, lake or any place that involves water. He has a passion for classic cars, camping, racing, and anything that involves a motor. NCAL 5266
